Application Instructions

  1. Prepare Materials:

    • Use a clean white cotton cloth or a 2500 fine grit sanding pad (recommended by MESI Woodshop).

  2. Apply Conditioner:

    • Sparingly apply a small amount of MESI wood conditioner to the cloth or sanding pad.

  3. Condition the Wood:

    • Gently rub the conditioner onto both sides of the wood surface using circular motions to ensure even coverage.

  4. Remove Excess:

    • Once the piece is covered, wipe the surface from end to end to remove any excess conditioner.

  5. Rest Time:

    • Let the piece sit undisturbed for 30-60 minutes to allow the conditioner to be absorbed into the wood.

  6. Buff to Finish:

    • With a clean white cotton cloth, buff the wood surfaces until all excess conditioner is removed, leaving the piece smooth to the touch.

  • Base Ingredient: Carnauba wax, derived from the leaves and buds of the Brazilian palm tree (Copernicia prunifera), making it vegan-friendly.
  • Additional Ingredients:
    • Mineral Oil
    • 100% Carnauba Wax (prevents bacterial buildup on the wood)
    •  (Nothing extra, no additives, preservatives or dyes)
