5. Food Products and Ingredient Information

MESI Woodshop & Spice House takes pride in producing handcrafted food products using quality ingredients and small-batch production methods.

Ingredient lists are provided for informational purposes and are believed to be accurate at the time of production. However, ingredient availability and suppliers may occasionally change. Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredient information before consuming any product.

Individuals with food allergies or dietary restrictions should exercise caution before consuming any product purchased from MESI Woodshop & Spice House.

Although many of our products contain only natural ingredients, we cannot guarantee that any product is free from allergens.

Products marketed as "Gluten Free" or "Made Without Gluten Ingredients" are prepared without gluten-containing ingredients. However, MESI Woodshop & Spice House is not a certified gluten-free facility. Our products are prepared in an environment where wheat, dairy, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, soy, sesame, and other allergens may be present. Customers with celiac disease or severe food allergies should consult their physician before consuming our products.

Statements made regarding ingredients, nutritional information, recipes, preparation methods, or suggested uses have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration unless specifically stated. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Customers are responsible for following safe food handling, storage, preparation, and cooking practices after receiving their order.

6. Woodworking Products

Our woodworking products are handcrafted using natural hardwoods and other carefully selected materials.

Because wood is a natural material, every piece will display unique grain patterns, mineral streaks, knots, figure, color variations, and other natural characteristics. These natural variations are not defects and contribute to the uniqueness of each handcrafted product.

Wood naturally expands and contracts in response to changes in humidity and temperature. Minor movement, seasonal expansion, contraction, or checking may occur over time and is considered a normal characteristic of solid wood products.

Customers are responsible for properly caring for all wood products in accordance with any care instructions provided. Improper use, excessive moisture, exposure to direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, dishwashers, soaking, or failure to properly maintain wooden products may result in damage that is not covered by any warranty.

Products intended for food preparation should be periodically treated with a food-safe wood conditioner or mineral oil to maintain their appearance and longevity.

Custom wood species, dimensions, finishes, engraving, and other customer-requested modifications may result in natural differences from sample photographs.

7. Custom Orders

Certain products offered by MESI Woodshop & Spice House may be custom designed, personalized, engraved, built-to-order, or otherwise manufactured according to customer specifications.

Customers are responsible for reviewing all measurements, spelling, artwork, design selections, personalization requests, and order details before approving production.

Once production has begun, custom orders generally cannot be modified, cancelled, exchanged, or returned except where required by law or where a manufacturing defect exists.

MESI Woodshop & Spice House reserves the right to refuse any custom order that cannot reasonably be produced, violates applicable law, infringes upon the intellectual property rights of another party, or contains offensive or inappropriate content.

Production timelines for custom work are estimates only and may vary depending on workload, material availability, shipping carriers, weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

8. Deposits

Certain custom orders, specialty products, woodworking projects, or large-volume purchases may require a deposit before production begins.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, deposits are applied toward the final purchase price of the order.

Deposits become non-refundable once materials have been ordered or production has commenced.

If a customer fails to approve specifications, provide requested information, respond to communications, or complete the purchase within six (6) months of the initial deposit, MESI Woodshop & Spice House reserves the right to consider the order abandoned. In such cases, any deposit paid may be forfeited to offset materials, labor, storage, administrative expenses, and other costs incurred.

Exceptions may be granted solely at the discretion of MESI Woodshop & Spice House.

9. Pricing and Product Availability

All prices displayed on this website are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless otherwise indicated.

We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, pricing, photographs, and availability are accurate. However, typographical errors, pricing inaccuracies, inventory discrepancies, or other errors may occasionally occur.

MESI Woodshop & Spice House does not store complete credit card information. Payment processing is handled through secure third-party payment providers.

If a payment is declined after an order has been submitted, we may delay, suspend, or cancel fulfillment until payment has been successfully completed.

12. Shipping Policy

MESI Woodshop & Spice House ships throughout the United States and to selected international destinations where available.

Shipping charges are calculated during checkout based upon package size, weight, destination, and the shipping service selected by the customer.

Although we strive to ship orders promptly, all shipping dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Delivery delays caused by weather, carrier disruptions, holidays, customs inspections, labor shortages, natural disasters, governmental actions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control are not the responsibility of MESI Woodshop & Spice House.

Ownership and risk of loss transfer to the customer upon delivery of the shipment to the shipping carrier.

Customers are responsible for ensuring the shipping address provided is complete and accurate. Additional shipping charges resulting from incorrect addresses, refused shipments, or returned packages may be the responsibility of the customer.

13. Shipping Damage and Lost Packages

Customers should inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery.

If a shipment arrives damaged, customers should:

  • Retain all original packaging.
  • Photograph the package and damaged items.
  • Notify MESI Woodshop & Spice House within five (5) business days of delivery.

Failure to report shipping damage within this timeframe may limit our ability to file claims with the shipping carrier.

If tracking information indicates a package was delivered but the customer cannot locate it, the customer should first contact the shipping carrier and nearby household members before contacting us.

We will make reasonable efforts to assist with carrier investigations but cannot guarantee reimbursement for packages confirmed as delivered by the carrier.

14. Return and Refund Policy

We want every customer to be satisfied with their purchase.

Unless otherwise stated, eligible products may be returned within thirty (30) days after delivery.

To qualify for a return:

  • Items must be unused.
  • Items must be in their original packaging.
  • Items must be returned in substantially the same condition in which they were received.

A fifteen percent (15%) restocking fee applies to approved returns unless the return results from our error or a defective product.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise required by law or approved by MESI Woodshop & Spice House.

Refunds will be issued only after returned merchandise has been received and inspected.

Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending upon your financial institution.

15. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return unless defective or required by applicable law:

  • Custom-made products.
  • Food products that have been opened.
  • Perishable products.
  • Gift cards.
  • Clearance or final-sale merchandise.

16. Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an eligible item, we recommend returning the original item in accordance with this Return Policy and placing a new order for the replacement item.
